Condolences

Jim and I were high school classmates back in the 50's. Following graduation we went our separate ways, with Jim ending up in Oklahoma. We did have the opportunity to become reacquainted during our numerous high school reunions. I especially enjoyed talking with him about his rodeo participation. He continued to compete, and perform at an extremely high level, many years after those of his age had retired. I will always remember him as quick-witted, with a sly mischievous grin. He will truly be missed by those who knew him. My thoughts go out to Frankie, his mother, and the rest of his family at these saddened times.
Frankie

I just read about Jimmy in the Liberty High 56. I am so sorry. I called Henrietta Morris Thur, her 92nd birthday and she told me he was not doing well. I am thinking of you as so many of us have lost our brothers in the last few years. Thinking of you and email when you want feel liking visiting.

Jimmy was a very good friend from our high school days in Liberty Mo. I have many fond memories of the times we spent together back then. I recall going to visit him in Mexico, Mo. when he attended Military school there and also at Mizzou in Columbia, Mo. during Rush week.
I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Jimmy's family during this difficult time. Please know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers. I shall miss Jimmy and his great personality and smile, but I shall never forget him! He was a true friend.

The world has lost a good man and a great, mischievous wit. Jimmy will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jim Keen was my 1st cousin on the FROST family side, Darthula Frost Keen is my aunt. We are very sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I always felt close to Jim, and shared many happy times together. Jim taught me how to ride horses many years ago in Liberty, MO and we would spend many happy days together at our grandfathers (Gene Frost) house in Joplin, MO, Jim will be missed terribly, My brother (Gene) and I feel the loss of our cousin. Jim was always a pleasure to be around with his ability of tellin stories and his sense of humor.
I live in Pueblo West, Colorado I will not be able to attend the funeral of Jim Keen. My thoughts go out to the families of Jim and his two sons Jeff and Jon Pat.
I felt always close to Jim, Janice and Jamie, I Often would attend to them when they live south of Belton and I was in the Air Force. I would often go over to their house and help Jim with the horses.
I had lived in San Antonio, Texas for many years before moving to Pueblo, CO and on my trips to visit my mother
(Ella Frost) who lives in Cassville, MO I would stop in Pryor to see Jim and Janice. They seem always glad to see me.
